On March 28, families, classmates and staff gathered in the cafeteria of Rehoboth Elementary to admire the Engineering Expo projects fifth graders have been working on over the last several weeks.
The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice recently honored Rehoboth Elementary School students Aaliyah Powell and Javion Turnage for their leadership, effort and excellence.
Rehoboth, Lewes, and Milton Elementary, along with Mariner Middle School will all be represented at the April 5th State Competition for Odyssey of the Mind (OM).
Three students from the Cape Henlopen School District competed: Cass Spinosa, fifth-grader at Love Creek Elementary; Mia Barnes, fifth-grader at Rehoboth Elementary; and Evan Ponen, fifth-grader at Milton Elementary.
Mia Barnes and Nnamdi Azie were the final two competitors standing at the Rehoboth Elementary Spelling Bee on Jan. 23. Mia was ultimately crowned the champion and qualified for the Regional Scripps Spelling Bee in Dover Saturday, March 8.
The Cape Henlopen School District is excited to announce a recent partnership with Beebe Healthcare to bring a substance use and prevention educational series to students, families and staff.
